Wow I'm rather awful keeping up with blogs, but today marked the ending of our games creation for the Cozy game jam event, we managed to fix all of the bugs that cropped up minus one hit box issue but it didn't greatly detriment gameplay for the player so we compromised.

All in all we got a fully working options system in the game alongside two volume sliders for not only overall volume but also sound effects which was nice to learn, game options also has the credits icon which has all the typical stuff alongside our little thank you message.

We manged to get three games working inside the house so we missed the target of five but we polished as much as we could with the time, audio wise I had a lot of fun implementing the sounds we chose and greatly enjoyed sourcing the sounds themselves. The game in the end is something we both feel very proud of for our first game jam.

The games are simple, the objective is simple but it's all well implemented and polished minus the hit boxes on the leaf mini game. The global timer and score was a difficult implementation but once we got it in we found no problems during testing.

Overall a great time and a fun little project, learnt a lot and proved to myself that I can make a game under time constraints so slim. This is the first of our many Itch.IO games, next on the block will be my 3D project called Norse Born!
